Refund Policy

Start free. Pay only when you upgrade. If you need a refund, the rules are plain here.

1. Overview

This Refund Policy explains when and how you can obtain a refund for a paid plan or a token purchase made on arabface.ai. It is part of, and incorporated into, our Terms of Service, and uses the same defined terms. The Service is operated by JUMNAT LLC, a Texas limited liability company (EIN 86-3516103), trading as arabface.ai.

Nothing in this Policy limits any mandatory consumer-protection right you have under the law of your country of residence. Where a mandatory right gives you more than this Policy, the mandatory right applies.

2. How payments are processed

We use external payment providers. We do not store your full payment-card details.

  • For most international card payments, Paddle acts as our authorised reseller and Merchant of Record. This means Paddle, not arabface.ai, is the seller of record for that transaction. Paddle’s own buyer terms and refund handling also apply, and you can request a refund either from us or directly through Paddle using the receipt Paddle emails you.
  • For payments in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the GCC (including mada, STC Pay, and Apple Pay), Moyasar processes the payment on our behalf.

Whichever provider is used, you can always start a refund request with us directly at legal@arabface.ai and we will coordinate it.

3. Free plan

The free plan is provided at no charge. There is nothing to refund. You can stop using it at any time.

4. Subscriptions (Plus, Pro)

4.1 Cancelling

You may cancel a subscription at any time from your account settings or by emailing legal@arabface.ai. Cancellation stops the next renewal. Your paid features remain available until the end of the billing period you have already paid for; we do not claw back access for the period you paid for.

4.2 Refund of a subscription charge

We will issue a refund of a subscription charge in these cases:

  • 14-day goodwill window. If you cancel within fourteen (14) daysof your first paid subscription charge and you have used only a minimal share of that period’s tokens, we will refund that charge in full. Token allowances consumed beyond a minimal share may be deducted from the refund.
  • Duplicate or accidental charge. If you were charged twice for the same period, or charged after a confirmed cancellation, we refund the incorrect charge in full.
  • Service failure. If a defect attributable to us prevented you from using the paid features for a material part of a billing period and we could not fix it in reasonable time, we will refund a fair amount for the affected period.

Outside these cases, subscription charges for a period that has already started are generally non-refundable, because the service for that period has been made available to you. This does not affect the statutory rights in §6.

5. Tokens and credits

Tokens (also called credits) are consumable digital content. They are delivered to your account immediately and are spent when you run a check or other metered action.

  • A monthly token allowance included in a plan does not roll over and has no cash value; unused allowance at the end of a period is not refundable.
  • A separately purchased token top-up can be refunded only if it is entirely unused and you request the refund within fourteen (14) days of purchase. Once any token from a top-up has been spent, that top-up is non-refundable, because consumable digital content has been delivered and used.
  • If tokens were deducted because of a technical error on our side (for example, a check that failed for a reason attributable to us), we will restore the tokens or refund their value.

6. Statutory withdrawal rights (EU / UK and similar)

If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with an equivalent right, you normally have fourteen (14) days to withdraw from a purchase of digital content.

Because a subscription and token purchases give you immediate access to digital content, at checkout you ask us to begin supplying that content immediately and you acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once supply has begun and, for tokens, to the extent they have been consumed. To the extent content has not yet been supplied or consumed within the 14-day period, your statutory withdrawal right is unaffected and you can withdraw for a refund of the un-supplied portion.

For consumers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, nothing in this Policy limits the rights you have under applicable Saudi consumer-protection law.

7. How to request a refund

  1. Email legal@arabface.ai from the email address on your account, with the subject “Refund request”.
  2. Include the date and amount of the charge, the plan or top-up concerned, and a short reason. If you paid through Paddle, attaching the Paddle receipt helps us locate the transaction faster.
  3. We aim to respond within five (5) business days. Some requests need a short review; we will tell you if so.

For card payments where Paddle is the Merchant of Record, you may alternatively contact Paddle’s buyer support directly through the link on your receipt.

8. How refunds are issued

Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method through the same provider that processed the payment (Paddle or Moyasar). The time for the funds to appear depends on your bank or card issuer and is typically five to ten (5–10) business days after we approve the refund. We refund in the currency in which you were charged; we are not responsible for exchange-rate differences applied by your bank.

9. Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is wrong, please contact us first — we can usually resolve it faster than a bank dispute. Opening a chargeback before contacting us may lead to your account being suspended while the dispute is investigated. We reserve the right to contest chargebacks we believe are made in error or bad faith.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy. The most current version will always be at this URL, and the “Effective date” is updated each time. The version in force at the time of your purchase governs that purchase.

11. Languages and contact

This Policy is published in English and Arabic. In case of any conflict, the English text is the legal source of truth. The Arabic version is provided for user clarity.
